My Tai Chi Background

Tai Chi

I’ve been studying Tai Chi since 1983. One of my early teachers was Master Chu King-Hung, a direct line disciple of Yang Sau-Chung, eldest son of Yang Cheng-Fu. I have also studied with other Yang Style teachers in the UK over the years. Currently I'm an indoor student of, er, myself.

Present Classes

• 6 private classes (4 evening - Bradford, 2 Friday morning – Hebden Bridge) teaching Tai chi to general public.
• One to One specialist training
• Various community based classes

Past Classes

• Community classes sponsored by the HALE project. (Shipley & Frizinghall Healthy Living Project – North Bradford NHS)
• Introductory and specialist one-day workshops
• Age Concern sponsored classes for older people
• Bradford College – for many years
• Calderdale Adult Education – for several years
• ILK – Independent Living Keighley. A project involving communal living for disabled, special needs and regular people.
• Otley Action for Older People. 18 months of regular classes
• Holmewood Activity Centre
• Abbeydale Residential Home – Ilkley
• Outlook – Halifax – Working with people recovering from drug & alcohol abuse
• West Bowling Community Health Action Project
• And others
